These three new Panthers join earlier FIU signees: point guard Cody Mann, guard Diamante Lewis, and forward Tymell Murphy. the six OFFICIALLY signed Panthers, only Mann has to sit out this coming season. The other five players will wear the FIU blue and gold this coming season.
Jerome Frink, 66, 210 pounds, forward from St. Anthony High in New Jersey. Frink (right) averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds last year. He's a twotime AllState player for a high school program that won 65 straight games the last two years. Frink is eligible to play this coming season for FIU.
FIU coach Richard Pitino signed three more players today on the final day of the signing period to the Panthers basketball team. Pitino added a center, a forward and a guard. The newest Panthers are:
Malik Smith, a 62 guard from Jacksonville College. Smith (left) averaged 14 points per game and 84 threepointers last season. Smith is eligible to play this coming season for FIU.
