Cons: Bad Reputation Please give us another Chance!
I went in to Cohen about a week ago because I managed to step on my own glasses. I chose this location because it was the most convenient location I could find. The person helping me was cordial and didn hassle me about the coupon I brought with me. I a bit picky so it took me about 30 or so frames to finally narrow down the 2 that I wanted to get. I had to wait a while when I went to pick up my glasses because they were rather busy at the time, but I walked out very happy with my new frames.
I had perhaps one of the most unpleasant days of my life here yesterday. Firstly, front desk staffer calculated illicit fees that were already fully covered by my vision insurance. She was loud and abrasive and cut off communication once she realized her game was uncovered. Optometrist Jeffrey Taranto was equally bad, calling me and threatened to call police if I didn leave the store promptly. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I ended up filing a complaint with the Office of Professional Discipline.
Pros: New Merchandise, Better Prices, and NO MORE SHADINESS!!!

I went in to get contacts. Wanting to try the place out. I gave my prescription and paid. I stood there like an idiot while the clerk stared at me. i need my contacts. clerk we don stock them, we order them me: i could have just gone to 1800 contacts, and you didn inform me of this before paying? Clerk: i thought you knew (yes bc everyone is born with that knowledge). I asked her when they would get here and they said by the end of the week. a week and half later. The stories that we have come in contact with the past few days have been terrible. We just wanted to get the word out to the neighborhood and to anyone that has had a bad experience here, that there is all new professional staff with great customer service skills, who will be happy to help you have a informative and delightful experience at our location. We have a brand new selection of designer frames, and will be running major discounts and specials for the next few months to all customers, Previous and New!!!
