Hardmans Hardware in Summersville, WV, is one of my favorite stores in the area. It is not just for hardware, you can find just about anything you are looking for here. They have such a variety of items, that you can actually spend hours just checking out everything. We do a lot of our Christmas shopping at Hardmans every year. But have also purchased some really neat hard to find anywhere items. Canning supplies, candles, candy, decorations, just to many things to mention. I love their Appliances, especially the old time look alike kitchen stoves. When you first pull up to Hardmans, it is like going back in time to the old country stores, large porch with rockers etc. You walk into the front room of the store, you stop for a few minutes deciding what to look at first. They always have music playing, which you can purchase the cassestes or cds. Great choice of music. The smell of all the candles, the old time pictures, wash tubs, wash boards. Just gives you a great feeling when you walk in the door. You name it, they have it. I have never been in a Hardware store that had so many different items. I hope everyone, if they are in the area of Summersville will take the time to stop at Hardmans Hardware, I guarantee you will not leave empty handed. You may stop to browse, but there is always something that will catch your eye. This is a one stop shopping HardwareplusStore.
