| Former NFL Quarterback Hit
Former NFL quarterback, Joey Harrington, was hit by a car this past weekend. Sunday night. His bike was struck from behind by a SUV that was following too closely. The driver, a male in his midtwenties received a ticket for the offense.
The former football great is in stable condition. He'll be released from the hospital sometime today. Harrington sustained a broken collarbone, lacerations to his head and scalp and a punctured lung. While the injuries are of a serious nature, none of them were lifethreatening. He will, however, face some time in recovery because of the collarbone injury.
Back in 2002, Joey Harrington was the thirdround NFL pick. He played as an NFL quarterback for the Lions for three years and then moved to the Dolphins in 2006.
