cardio exercise and restricted unhealthy fats. do extended high-intensity work (not sprinting, but running; or something similar) and eat simple carbohydrates (a handful of jelly snakes works; you need your mules to recover their energy supplies and they are most efficient just after your cool-down) and protein (powder is the easiest way; you need your mules to repair themselves so you can go again the next day) just after the workout, and for meals eat protein (pasta-type stuff andor lean meat andor potato-type veables) and complex carbs. eat some (a handful of) nuts (pine nuts) for good fat. you lose fat by consuming more energy than you store, but you cant consume energy efficiently if your body is hoarding fat because you are starving yourself. with a restricted diet (of the right sort) you can do a lot of exercise without hoarding fat. try to lose about three pounds a week; much more than that is unhealthy, and youll regain it in the three weeks after you realise youve lost all the fat you need, and give up workouts because you then would hate it so much.physical trainers, if you can a good one, are awesome; gyms are great if you have someone good to coach you - you need to do high-rep, low-weight stuff (over and over again)..
