how do you copy files from a data dvd to your computer cleanly. ive got a new hard drive fitted and have dvds with all my previous data on them, i tried dragging them all (4.7gb per dvd) into folders on my desktop but a message keeps coming up stopping the process saying cannot copy (particular file), the request could not be performed because of an io device error.when i delete the file causing the problem, another file comes up, any other ways. this seems to be a case of corrupted media but you can try to recover data from a dvd or any other media by using data recovery softwares like isobuster. if you think its your operating system then try reinstalling it.. i found a good tool to backup the dvd di. it is dvd copy. it here software.ivertechdvdc… i prefer to use it for its pragmatic functions. first dvd to dvd copy, each time i backup my dvd movie di in case, the copied di is the same with the original one. i am really happy to find it. in addition, if the di space is not large enough, i also can choose main movie copy to save the space. this reduces the trouble for ting the suitable di. besides, the main point that i like is the user-friendly interface. choose source and tar, choose mode, and run. so easy, i enjoy the tool very much. hope to share with dvd lovers.

how can i recover deleted files on windows vista. yeah i accidentally deleted something i need. when i deleted it it said it sended it to the recycling bin but windows vista seems to lack that.. any way how can i it back. well so they are on recycle bin so go with the right click personalize on the bar on the left change desktop icon and choose which one you want to be on the desktop than go to recycle bin and restore files. if that doesnt help check out this video on how to do it youtubewatchv=ebegjrgxc…. you can often successy recover deleted files from a pc, it all depends on what has happened since the files were deleted.when you delete files the data itself isn’t deleted, just the index entry that tells the system where the data for those files is located. the area containing the deleted data is also now marked as free space so it is available for any new files to be written there instead. if and when that happens, then it is too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned. one of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some good file recovery software. one i used to use is asoftech recovery which you can download from site belowasoftechapr. vista does have a recycle bin.right click on your desktop.on the menu that appears pick personalize, then on the windows that appears, click on change desktop items.you should now see the desktop icon settings window.put a check mark right next to recycle binhit okay. you should now see the recycle bin on your desktop.. hi, there)the answer is absolutely yes. sometimes when you delete some files, the files will bypass the recycle bin. but no matter you lost files by deleting or shift+ delete, the file data are not deleted permanently. they are still in the hard disk of your computer, just the system index pointers marked the space which those files take as free space for new data to write in. so you still have great chances to your deleted files back.the best and easiest way to do is to try some data recovery programs. recommend one is data recovery. there are four critical functions in the program. in your case just try the function deleted recovery. just select the folder to an and your deleted files will be back in even a few minutes. free download the program here,disk-utilitiesdata-recov…note before your files are recovered, please dont save more files to the hard disk and keep your computer safe in case anything unexpected happensgood luck and best wishes.. you could try using using file recovery software. try pandora recovery (ive never used it before, but it is highly rated recovery software). give it a try. download it heredownload.cnetpandora-recover…if it does not work well to your satisfaction, try other file recovery software. go to download and search for file recovery software.hope this helps. good luck.. ask-leoi_accidentally_delete…follow that link, it tells how to the recycle bin back.. go to my computer, my files, recycling bin, restore all items. if you have not emptyed your recycle basket it and select explore, select restore on any item.
