Colby Jones, a nose guard on defense, looked good in Academy's preseason loss. Delgado hopes Jones you will find can put pressure located on the quarterback.

Things look forward to: Both teams are novices at 11man football, with Oasis Charter going up from sixman football and Marco playing its first regularseason bet on any area. Marco would like establish running game. Its defensive line is truly a key. Oasis includes a strong quarterback and good receivers, with two running backs that should mean a highscoring game if Marco doesn't take control.
Brady said his players are ready to experience gametime conditions.
Oasis is equipped with some experience, with veterans getting back from the sixman team. Oasis coach Jeff Brady had been the defensive coordinator at Bishop Verot completely. Oasis had 24 players about the initial roster, but ballooned to 58 once school started.
"They been employed hard and therefore ready to hit somebody besides most of the teammates," Brady said. "I expect the criminals to tips to negotiate."
Brady said, "We desire to determine what young kids found out used and gain game experience. We all have talent and we'll observe we bring together."
Andy Delgado, who has also Marco Island Academy's baseball coach, is definitely a firsttime head football coach who has 27 players on his roster.
Both schools are playing independent schedules, planning to secure Florida High-school Athletic Association districts next fall.
For some years Oasis Charter played sixman football. Without a preseason game, this can be its first test. Marco lost 456 in the packages inaugural preseason game for an experienced St. Stephen's team in Bradenton a week ago.
That it appears to be sound strategy since Oasis is led by Josh Erther, its senior quarterback. Brady said Erther is complemented by two good running backs, Joseph Pascale and should Jynella.

"We'll begin with throwing perfect for most, oldfashioned football at them," Delgado said. "Nick Dotson works as a bruiser, playing at fullback. With him and (running backs) Jared Jackson and Noel Cabrera, prefer to run to have complete control of an game.
