As for Need For Speed, EA seems to crank out new installments of their racing series at warp speed. Since 2009, seven titles have launched across several platforms, the latest of which was 2011's Need For Speed: The Run.
Dead Space is coming off a fantastic second chapter in Dead Space 2, a horror adventure starring engineer Isaac Clarke as he battles waves of creepy zombielike creatures called Necromorphs.
No details for either title were given, but during a fourthquarter earnings call, EA said the titles will arrive during the 2013 fiscal year, which ends in March of next year.
The game also introduced a multiplayer component similar to Valve Software's cooperative shooter Left 4 Dead. Players could choose between humans or Necromorphs and battle each other in a series of matches.
