锘?0 Cool Kitchen Gadgets That Are Absolutely Amazing
It doesn't matter if the doohickey is electronic or hand powered as long as it's nifty and makes food preparation easier. I mean, that's what a gadget is supposed to do! Looking cool is not enough for me, it's got to be functional and it's got to save me TIME! Below I'm going to share a few cool kitchen gadgets that make have made my life (at least in the kitchen) a whole lot easier!

This egg timer has a gauge that indicates when the eggs you are boiling are soft, medium, or hard. After buying one and trying it out, I got a few for my friends and family as well (used them as stocking stuffers near Christmas). This gadget is easy to use and after you are done with it, you just leave it out to dry and it's ready to use again.

The Norpro egg timer is a cool kitchen gadget I use when I want to make perfectly soft boiled eggs for my kids. They like it when the egg yolk is gooey and for a while I used this simple kitchen timer, but the results were not always consistent. Sometimes I would get soft boiled eggs and sometimes they would be hard. I believe this happened because although the time was always the same, I never knew what temperature the water was at when I dropped the eggs in. The Norpro timer changed everything. Now thanks to this cool gadget, I always know EXACTLY when the eggs are ready. And I make soft boiled eggs consistently. My kids are happy and I'm happy!

This spice storage unit can hold 12 spices and with each turn you can release a quarter teaspoon of spice. This works for me because I don't always have time to start fiddling with the measuring spoons (if I can find them in the first pace, am I right???). Now I just take out the spice I need and turn the dial a couple of times. Doesn't get any better than that!
I really like this set because its heat resistant. The utensils also have weighted handles, so these babies will never get your counters dirty, especially when you take them out of a pot or pan. They're easy to store (I have a few hooks next to my stove where I hang them and they're always easy to grab). Best of all they are SUPER easy to wash!

The Joseph Joseph utensils are cool cooking tools that make cooking a whole lot easier. My kids love eating eggs for breakfast and they prefer their eggs over easy. Before getting this set, I used a metal slotted turner, but after a while I noticed it was scratching my frying pans. I got a plastic one, but it wasn't heat resistant and after a couple of uses, I ungraded to the Joseph Joseph Elevate Utensils.
The KitchenArt spice carousel is another cool kitchen gadget that I could NOT do without. I use it to measure and store Oregano, Cilantro, Cummin, etc. (basically the spices I use most frequently). Although you can mount it under a kitchen cabinet, I placed mine on a free counter top. It makes measuring spices easy and fast!
I can relate. Being a mother of two kids (three if you count my husband), I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and there are times when I want to find an easier or cooler way to do things. Hence my love for gadgets!
I use these scissors to cut all my herbs and it really cuts down on my cocking time. I've heard that a few people had trouble with herbs getting stuck in the blades, but I didn't experience that. These scissors are also a great value for the price.
The RSVP herb scissors make cutting, chopping and mincing herbs a breeze. You can use them to cut down the time (get it?) needed to prepare your herb dishes. This pair of scissors works does the work of five knives in one stroke. They're a nifty kitchen gadget to add to your arsenal of tools.
