Ok I should stop beaming with pride. It has to dawn on me one of these days that I'm officially 6 feet under in debt *guffaw*. What's worse is I actually should've used part of the money to buy me a new phone. Instead, I now have tape stuck on my Nokia E71 keypad to prevent that #7 from falling off. *muwahaha* Oh well, I guess I'll just have to endure using a taped- up keypad (with matching sporadic phone black-outs and that little port cover that keeps on popping open. Ugh I'm so annoyed with that it happened just a few days after I got the phone too!). On a related note, can anyone out there who has a Nokia E75 tell me how they like the phone?
Ok now a picker upper. Yoku Moku!! Apparently my DM had already purchased this brand of cookies at NM before my friend PT introduced the brand to us and that's when I consciously remembered the brand. Because PT has excellent taste and had gifted us with quite possibly the best cookies in the world, this baghag took notice And now, we were at Yoku Moku! Their cookies in a small tinbox are approximately US$25 each (Php 1000+). The macadamia and almond chocolate dipped ones are particularly delightful to the palate, and would make many people with that fateful sweet tooth flock back to this place for more.
Ok peeps, I better get some sleep now. I am actually working officially tomorrow so I won't again be at the shop. Had a long day today that culminated in a nice dinner at Duo in Serendra. Had yummy food portobello mushroom salad with mesclun greens and foie gras!! SINFUL!! Oh I almost failed to mention that I also had Krispy Kreme donuts afterwards with the Belgian peeps. Oh oh oh, one more thing (and I know, I'm bragging again), the cameraman who was working with us today always goes to these Paris fashion shows to cover Belgian fashion (Ann Demeulemeester and Dries Van Noten). How cool is that!?! So next time I go back to Brussels for a visit, they will not take me to see the Mannekin Pis (tourist trap) hahaha. I told them about that wholesale nfl jerseys little statue (statuette?) wearing all these different outfits and they laughed. Ok, so I do have the word Tourist spelled across my forehead without me knowing after all *muwahaha*. This time around, if we do go to Belgium, no more tourist traps I'm going to raid all fashion houses *muwahaha even worse I think!*
Ok so first and foremost lets get a discussion about graphics and licenses out of the way. While PES has undoubtedly improved its look, where players and stadiums?appear increasingly life-like, FIFA still takes some beating for me. Although when it comes down to licenses there is absolutely no competition whatsoever. With PES we still have to accept the likes of West Midland Village and Yorkshire Orange?while FIFA can boast the latest kits, stadiums and club badges with up to date to boot. Until Konami challenge FIFA for the rights for the licensing rights, PES will always come out second best in this particular battle.
