"Designed primarily for football, this 60,000 seat multifunction sports stadium to remain built at Kitchener Park, could easily accommodate track and field events, or maybe host the outlet and closing ceremonies.
"We can also be building the 14,000 seat Perth Arena indoor stadium on Wellington Street together with new state athletics centre and eightcourt basketball stadium at AK Reserve in Floreat.
