| what is a good way to begin working out . . . i am 23, female. i just started my membership at 24 hour fitness and i dont know where to begin. i need to lose some belly fat and gain some mule.. . . start slow, just gradual exercise in small chunks, but when you feel you can do more, go for it. dont push yourself too hard but dont lose motivation. maybe 20 minutes a day at first, but slowly increasing by ten minutes each week, or every two days. depends on you, i guess, as well, so do whats right for you. if you need to exercise your stomach area, try sit-ups and exercises like that. im no expert but i think that helps! also, if you have a running machine, do half an hour on that every afternoon whilst watching some telly, that way you wont be bored and give up so easy.. . . there are a few ways. but first, you have to ask yourself a few questions 1. what activities do i like you will be more motivated to work out if youre doing something you like. so pick the physical activity you really like, whether its cycling, running, or playing basketball, etc. but whatever you do, consistency is key. so pick at least three times each week when you will definitely work out, no matter what happens. 2. what is my goal you said your goal is to how to lose belly fat fast and gain mule, so you need to include some weight training. i am a kettlebell instructor (rkc), so naturally thats what i tell people to do, but first some good instruction on weight training. 3. how am i eating this is critical if you want to really lose fat. id have to know more about what your current eating habits are, but if you really want to lose fat, look at the healthy things you can add to your diet, including more water, more veables, etc.. . . you first need to your nutrition checked, no results will some without proper diet, then to exercising, weight training for a hour 3 times a week will you stronger, while 3 other days the week do a hour of cardio, consisting of running, or swimming, or intermediate yoga, or kick boxing, sign up for classes at the gym, they usually have it, maybe spinn class try that. but just work out monday-wed-fri doing weight training, and then tues-thus-sat, doing cardio, results will come quickly, within a month or 2 significant results! but you need to set goals, write down eveything you do! how many reps, sets, weight. all of it keep a food journal, track what you ate, one thing you could look into is the primal diet, i hear alot of good things about that and ithnk you can buy the book about it for pretty cheep on amazon, try that out! look it up online.good job taking a step towards better health, make sure you set goals and push yourself every day, just keep showing up, keep a hedual, to keep you ontrack! good luck.
