| what kind of dress do i need to wear for an afternoon outdoor wedding. the <a href=http://www.celebritydressessale.co.uk/>celebrity dresseses</a> are tea length (green). the mother of the bride is looking at wearing a floor length red dress. as mother of the groom, am not sure what to wear.. for my sons wedding which just happened to be in the afternoon, i wore a tea length dress. being outdoors, id definitely go short. good luck!. id be inclined to say length doesnt matter as long as its age appropriate. it sounds like it isnt an overly formal wedding, so id suggest anything that would at least harmonize with the wedding colors. if the dresses are a lighter green, then a pretty blue, lavender or tan would look nice. or even a floral pattern that incorporated the green. mostly, just find something that you are comfortable wearing all day, that is flattering on your shape, and makes you feel good on your sons special day. congrats!. i would wear something simple and shorter lenght.i would not wear red to a wedding ever.i would look for a earth tone like brown or another neutral earth tone.. remember not to wear anything in your hair that would blow away!
